We are pleased to introduce to you, Aspen Medical Aesthetics & Laser Clinic’s new Medical Director, Dr. Michael Brin! Dr. Brin and Aspen’s owner & master Aesthetician, Amy Brunner-Koch, met 20 years ago while working at Columbia St. Mary’s Ozaukee. Now, 20 years later Dr. Brin has become Aspen Medi Spa’s Medical Director. Dr. Brin is a Chicagoan through and through, that is, until he chose to earn his Bachelors Degree at the University of Wisconsin, Madison in ‘96. While attending UW, Dr. Brin had the opportunity to, not only play football for the Badgers, but be a part of the ‘93-‘94 Rose Bowl team! 

After finishing up at UW he returned to his home city to attend the University of Illinois – Chicago to complete his Master’s of Public Health. He continued on to Chicago Osteopathic Medical School and from there he worked his residency in Emergency Medicine back at UIC. Dr. Brin never lost his love for Wisconsin as he moved to the Milwaukee area 17 years ago. 

He’s served on the Columbia St. Mary’s Foundation Board, served as medical Staff President and Chief of Staff, and he’s been the Medical Director for Ascension Columbia St. Mary’s Ozaukee Emergency Department since ‘09. 

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Brin enjoys spending time with his wife, Jodi, and his 3 sons, Zachary, Jacob and Joshua. Dr. Brin enjoys spending his free time coaching his son’s baseball and basketball teams and keeping up with his Badgers. On Wisconsin!
